Dhamaal is a film by director Inder Kumar. It is a comedy film starring our favorite actor Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Ritesh Deshmukh, Aftabh Shivdasani, and Ashish Chaudhary. It's good to have films about silly topics with silly jokes every now and then. But too many of them can be pretty annoying, like those so many films of the last year about blind, deaf and dumb characters.

Anyway, music of Dhamaal is composed by Adnan Sami, he has also lent his vocals to a couple of the songs. Unfortunately this album is one of his worst works so far. He's made some great songs in the past. Let's hope that trend doesn't go down.

Bhram is a film by Pavan S. Kaul and stars Dino Morea, Milind Soman, Simone Singh and Sheetal Menon. The movie's had mostly below average reviews. I don't know much about it though.
Anyway, music of Bhram is directed by Pritam and Siddharth Suhas. Listening to these songs literally gave me a headache. I don't know if the songs were completely at fault, as I had just returned from a very busy day when I decided to see how they were. The bottom line is that I didn't enjoy them the smallest bit. I've heard that sales wise Bhram's music did really great, which really proves that it wasn't the songs. I was me. I hope you are in a much better state when you are listening to them so you would know how they ACTUALLY are.

Lovesongs is an English language film directed by Jayabrato Chatterjee. Jaya Bachchan plays the role of a widow who runs a NGO for the disabled. Her grandson who is a law student in Bangalore comes to Kolkata for vacation. His interest and questioning about her past brings back her memories of the past, her love life and all the emotions associated with them. Other casts of the film along with Jaya Bachchan are Om Puri, Mallika Sarabai, Rajit Kapoor and Neil Bhoopalam. The songs, which are composed by Usha Uthup, are also mostly in English. They are pretty slow. You can feel how sad and emotion-filled the film is going to be just by listening to these songs.

The wait is over boys and girls!! Don is here!! I guess the release of its soundtracks was as much anticipated as the movie itself is.After all the 'charche' about this film, I don't think there are many who don't know the casts and crew of DON. In case there are still some unaware, which is very unusual, I'll just say it. Don - The Chase Begins Again is a remake of the classic 1978 movie that starred Amitabh Bachchan as the Don. This time around Shahrukh Khan is the Don, and the rest of the gang includes Priyanka Chopra, Isha Koppikar, Arjun Rampal, Kareena Kapoor, Boman Irani and Sushma Reddy. The new Don is directed by Farhan Akhtar.The trio gang Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy have directed the music of DON. They have brought back two of the songs from the 1978 Don to life; Khaike Pan Banaras Waala and Yeh Mera Dil. The new Khaike Pan Banaras Waala is sung by SRK himself, however none of the songs have that vibe the originals have/had. That's just my opinion. Free Songs of: No smoking (2007)

No Smoking is the much talked about movie by Anurag Kashyap starring John Abraham, Ranvir Shorey, Ayesha Takia, Joy Fernandes, Paresh Rawal, Bipasha Basu, and Saif Ali Khan. This film is supposedly meant to demote smoking by showing how horrible it is, and the kind of things it can result in. I think it would've been better if they named it something like 'No Drugs' or 'No Cocaine'. Even better 'Addiction Kills'. The film is more about addiction of any kind than it smoking in particular. And the kind of side-effects depicted seem more look those of other hardcore drugs. There's nothing about the ACTUAL harms of smoking in the film. The kind of things that any smoker could look at and say 'that could happen to me'. I don't think any smoker would think they will go as far as John Abraham with smoking. It's rare and extreme. HOWEVER, the intention is to be applauded, and I hope it succeeds in what it aims to do. That's my 2 cents on the movie itself. Please do tell me if you think otherwise. AND after watching the movie, tell us if it convinced you to quit smoking.
Now let's talk about the music. It's composed by Vishal Bharadwaj. with vocals from Adnan Sami, Sukwinder Singh, and Sunidhi Chauhan to name a few. It's not really extraordinary, but still pretty good. I hope you enjoy it.

Jannat is a Bhatt production and its story surrounds sports betting and match fixing in cricket. Emraan Hashmi plays the role of a bookie who gets into this profession to get rich fast. It is Kunal Deshmukh's first film as a director. Apparently Kunal and Emraan have been studying real life bookie's to prepare for the role. Other actors in major roles includes 2005 Miss World Sonal Chauhan, Samir Kocchar and Javed Shaikh. Initially they wanted Esha Deol and then Kangna Renaut to do the lead female role but they couldn't due to tight schedule.

Music of Jannat is composed by Pritam. To be honest I haven't had a chance to listen to songs yet, so I don't really know how it is. Considering Pritam made pretty good music for the last three times he worked with the Bhatts (Gangster, Woh Lamhe and Awarapan), I'm hoping that this time around he does a good job again.

I'm sure a lot of you have been eagerly waiting for this. Aamir is also the producer of this film. We all know that he is a control freak when it comes to his movies and has had problems with his previous directors and producers. So this time he's taken control of everything to make sure the final product is exactly what he wants. I hope it pays off well.
Music of TZP is directed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy. Right now I'm listening to song 3 and there is nothing spectacular so far. It ain't that bad either. I'm sure I will like them more once I see the film. I hope you enjoy them more than I did.

Based on the Will Smith starring Hollywood film Hitch, Partner features Salman Khan, Govinda, Lara Dutta, and Katrina Kaif in the leading roles. It is directed by David Dhawan. Here Sallu is the 'love guru' which leaves Govinda to be the one who needs a make-over to win one of the leading ladies' heart. It's meant to be a comedy film, and I hope that the makers have loaded it with some nice and smart jokes. We've had a little too much of stupid jokes recently, mostly last year.

The man responsible for the music of Partner is Sajid Wajid. It's a pretty fast-paced and loud album with too much bass. If you have a good sound system, big subs with a good amplifier, you can blow your roof off with these songs. And I think that's all they can do, they're neither lyrically good nor musically exceptional. Just loud and in your face, rather in your ear drums. No award nominations for Wajid this year. Have a listen yourselves, and see what I mean.

Vidya Malvade also plays a major role in film, I think that of a hockey player who dreams of playing for the National Team. Just a guess. Chak De India is one of the major movies of the year under the Yash Raj Movies banner, and it's produced by the Chopras. BTW, this is SRK's first muslim role and accroding to IMDB.com, he grew the beard in order to look more muslim-like.

Sorry for the delay everyone. Krazzy 4 is a comedy movie starring Arshad Warsi, Irfaan Khan, Diya Mirza,Juhi Chawla, Rajpal Yadav, Rajat Kapoor, Rakhi Sawant, Sunil Pal, Makrand Deshpande, Mukesh Rishi and Mandira Bedi. It's directed by Jaideep Sen. The are special appearances by Shahrukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan in the songs Break Free and Krazzy 4 respectively.
Music of Krazzy 4 is composed by Rajesh Roshan and it seems to be pretty popular. I haven't listened though. I hope you like it.

Free Songs of: U, Me Aur Hum

U, Me Aur Hum marks Ajay Devgan's directorial debut which is also produced and written by him. He also stars in the film along with her wife Kajol, Karan Khanna, Isha Sharwani, Rituparna Sengupta, Sarika, Sumeet Raghavan and Divya Dutta. Wikipedia says it's Ajay and Kajol's seventh film together, but I can't remember which ones they are.

U, Me Aur Hum is about Ajay and Pia who meet on a cruiseship and despite Ajay's bad first impression in the form acting like fool while drunk they get married. But later Pia is diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, the film show how they cope with the problems that come with the disease. I haven't seen the film yet, but from what I've read so far about it, it seems quite similar to the 2004 Korean film called A Moment to Remember. Now I'm not flaming Ajay for copying here, just saying they SEEM similar. I just hope that Ajay has made a good movie. Those of you who are into Korean films, watch A Moment to Remember. It's an amazing but sad film.

Music of U, Me Aur Hum is composed by Vishal Bhardwaj. Jee Le is an excellent song and the best of the album, followed by the title song. Sirf - Life looks greener on the other side (whew, talk about long movie names :D) is a film about four couples who each have something and missing another, such as money, love, trust, time, etc. It's about how they come together and hopefully solve their problem. Sirf is the return of Manisha Koirala who is paired with Kay Kay Menon. Other actors/actresses in major roles are Ranvir Shorey, Sonali Kulkarni, Parveen Dabaas, Rituparna Sengupta, Ankur Khanna, Nauheed Cyrusi. The film is directed by Rajaatsh Nayar and its music is by Sohail Sen and Shibani Kashyap. According to my taste, there's only one song in this album that's worth listening to, and that is Zindagi Ki Kahani. But that's just me.

Despite all the hype, Tashan has received pretty bad reviews. Apparently there is no content in it. Honestly, after I heard the emphasis on "ishtyle" in their promotional stuff, I wasn't expecting much myself either. Seems like Yash Raj Films are committed to continue producing crappy films
Lucky for us though, music of Tashan is composed by Vishal and Shekhar who are focussed on quality. There are a few of good songs, and there are a couple of songs for Sukhwinder fans. I hope you like the songs.

How to convert .rm to .mp3

Software/Tool Required:
Switch Sound File Conversion Software
Switch is a free audio coversion tool. It supports conversion of many format into one another, but what we need to know is that it CAN convert .rm to mp3. There is a Plus version that you can upgrade to for $US 19.40 which will unlock some advanced features. You can read more about it at their website. For the purpose of this tutorial the free version is perfect and there is no need for an upgrade.
NOTE: The free version will have all the advanced features for 14 days from the day you install the software. After that trial period, the advanced features will be deactivated and every once in a while you will be asked to upgrade. Don't worry about that, just click 'NO' or 'Cancel' everytime you are asked to upgrade and you will be fine.

Use the link above to download Switch. Run the downloaded file by double-clicking and simply follow the on-screen instructions to install it on your hard drive.
How to use Switch:
You can use Switch to convert files one at a time, or convert multiple files at once. Here are the steps to convert one/multiple files:
First add files to the queue by clicking either the 'Add File(s)' or 'Add Folder' button (see image below). They both serve the same purpose, with the difference that the first allows you to choose the files you want and the second enables you to add all the contents of a folder to the queue.
Now that you have added your files, you need to choose the Output Folder, the folder where Switch will save the converted files. Click the button labelled as ' ... ' (see image below) and choose your desired folder.
Choose .mp3 (or any format you prefer) as the Output Format from the dropdown menu as shown in the image below.
Finally, click the 'Convert' button at the top right corner to get the job done.
When you click Convert, a little window (like the one below) will pop up, which shows you what is being done. You can cancel the process by clicking the 'Cancel' button (Dah!). The window will disappear once files are converted.
